Fenix first began in Windsor, Canada in the 1990's with Chris, Mike, and several talented musicians. Life sort of got in the way for a while and we had to hit the pause button.

Fast forward to 2016 when Jackie brought new life to our music and our dreams. Moving to the Philippines changed everything. 

In Cebu we found a vibrant culture that lives on music. People here sing even in the harshest of times and of course the climate and beaches would inspire any poet.

We found a new purpose to inspire us. So many people here live in poverty and need all the help they can get. We decided to use the gift of our songs to help where we could. This was a long time mission of the band but in Canada it was very difficult to make a difference.
